Pedal Pumping Movie Updates In April 2017

 

•  April 28:  Kelly goes into the garage to see if the 49 Ford will start. When it finally does, she does some smoky revving and then pulls the choke out to flood the engine. Kelly was one of the models who loved to wear the stockings and also loved to crank and drive the old cars.

 

•  April 26:  You have two models scheduled to shoot and it's pouring down rain. So what do you do? They were both local models who didn't cost me very much money, so I went on with the shoot. I actually a camera mounted on a tripod sitting in the rain to capture the exhaust but the breeze blew the cellophane over the lens so that part was toast. I actually thought about throwing this movie away, but there is always stuff that somebody will like.

 

•  April 24:  Stacey Leigh was a model who first appeared on Classic Car Ladies and being from Tennessee, she had no problem shooting with Gian in southern Illinois. Gian had a 62 Buick Skylark and after a bit of cranking and revving, you get to watch Stacey Leigh drive the Buick around the farm in Belleville, IL where Gian hid his cars from his wife for over 17 years. Pedal pumping soap opera. There's probably a chapter about me in there somewhere.

 

•  April 21:  Krista was a local girl who shot with us quite a few times. She was an aggressive pumper who sometimes flooded the car she was trying to start. In this movie, she cranked the 66 Valiant for over five minutes until it finally started. Krista then did some revving to charge up the battery before backing down the driveway.

 

•  April 19:  It was a very chilly day and the 51 Chevy had been sitting in the garage for several days when I asked Brianna to take it for a drive. It took her almost seven minutes to get the car from the garage into the street. Brianna manages to drive around the neighborhood but the Chevy stalled three or four times before she finally got the car back into the garage. Sorry about the squeaky gas pedal.

 

•  April 17:  It's a beautiful summer day and Sanny wants to take for Rambler convertible for a spin. It takes her a bit of time to get the car started but she finally manages to go for a drive. The Rambler stalls once and is quite hard to get started again.

 

•  April 14:  In her last movie, I asked Kat to start the 69 VW without touching the gas pedal. This movie was the total opposite. I told her to pump the gas pedal as hard as she could so I could see if she could honestly flood the bug. Kat did a great job and did a bit of revving when the stubborn Pussy Wagon finally started.

 

•  April 12:  Rachel was a very cute young lady who traveled from NC to shoot with us frequently. She grew up on a dairy farm in PA so she was no stranger to a stick shift. Today she cranks the 49 Ford and then takes you for a ride around the neighborhood. The car stalls when she gets back home, and she does some revving after the car starts back up.

 

•  April 10:  Sanny was originally from Cambodia and had recently gotten a boob job. She told me that one boob was bigger than the other, so it was back to the surgeon. Sanny gets in the 63 Falcon and after a bit of a struggle, she gets the car started and takes you for a ride around my gated community. The car stalls several times and when she gets back home, she pulls the choke out which floods the engine. The model index is now complete, but there is still a bit of tweaking to do. The index has well received by our members.

 

•  April 7:  Tasha was a local model who wanted to drive the 62 Rambler convertible. She started cranking the car in my driveway and the cranking moved to another part of my neighborhood where the car had stalled. Somehow I missed the driving footage in between but decided to make the movie because Tasha was one of the few models to actually flood the Rambler.

 

•  April 5:  During one of her shoots, I took Shellie to the storage lot where the Bug had been sitting for quite some time. I asked her to see if she could get the VW started with pumping the gas. Isobel made a similar movie but with some tease dialogue added. Shellie was eventually able to get the purple bug started.
